Maharajpur is a less popular small village nestled at the Bengal – Jharkhand border, is an ideal destination for a weekend trip. This is where time has stopped – you can still board a tanga here and visit the erstwhile palaces of the Maharajas to see a few Mughal era paintings and you can take a dip in a non perennial pool fed by and underground stream. Boasting of an unspoiled natural beauty, a waterfall and the River Ganges nearby – the place truly offers visual and sensual pleasure to the tourists. It is located around 9 km. east of Sahibganj district of Jharkhand. BOOK YOUR TRIP TO MAHARAJPUR
