Lodging and Food at Sherpa Gaon: In this Farmstay, you would find Tree Houses, Machaan Houses, Traditional Mud Houses, Bamboo Cottages and Lonely Cottages lost in the forest. You can take walks along the fruit gardens and cardamom fields of this resort, which is spread over a few acres of land along the slopes of the ridge. A part of the Sherpa Gaon farm stay has been landscaped but most of it has been left out to its natural state, so guests can find the creeks and caves by themselves. All the cottages are made from local bio-friendly materials in traditional style but comes with all modern facilities like electricity, comfy beds, attached western bathrooms and hot water arrangements. However, the farm stay has purposely not kept TVs in the cottages, so that guests get a chance to look up to the skies and spot the millions of stars and milky ways. The food is essentially Indian cuisine served hot and fresh with lots of care. The ingredients are completely organic and mostly sourced from the farm.
